I have expertise working with issues such as depression, anxiety, chronic stress, and trauma. I work with adults, adolescents, and couples. As a psychotherapist, I work to help clients recognize their strength and resilience to achieve their individual goal.
I firmly believe no one is meant to experience the challenges of life in isolation. I am here to help you in navigating the present circumstances that you are experiencing. I offer a safe and welcoming space. My approach relies on being client-centred and relational.
Experience:
Faven is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with 8 years of experience working within the mental health sector. Faven has experience with a myriad of presenting issues including, trauma, depression, self-esteem issues, anxiety, and grief. In working with youth and individuals Faven is a person-centered approach, and includes interventions from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She works with couples and is trained in Gottman Level 1 & 2. Faven believes in utilizing a strengths-based approach in each session, and will work alongside you to accomplish your goals.
