Often telling your story can be challenging…
Many people come to therapy feeling stuck or unsure where to begin. You may be looking for a space where you can share your thoughts and experiences openly, feel genuinely understood, and know that you won’t be judged. I aim to offer a warm, respectful environment where you can begin exactly where you are.
My approach is compassionate and tailored to you. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you and work toward greater clarity, balance, and self-understanding.
Experience
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). Before entering private practice, I supported children and adolescents as a guidance counselor and supply teacher, helping students navigate social, emotional, and academic challenges.
I also spent four years working as a flight attendant, traveling to 72 countries and connecting with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. This experience deepened my cultural awareness and understanding of how identity, culture, and environment shape coping and life choices.
Client Focus
I work with children (9+), teens, and adults, and I support both individuals and couples. I have a particular interest in working with adolescents and youth, as well as individuals navigating identity development, cultural adjustment, and life transitions.
My work is grounded in cultural sensitivity, curiosity, and respect for each person’s lived experience.
Types of Therapy
My work is primarily person-centered, supported by trauma-informed and strengths-based care. I integrate CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and emotion regulation skills to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns.
I focus on creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore challenges, build coping strategies, and recognize your resilience and strengths.
Issues I Support
I support clients navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, complex identity questions, cultural and life transitions, and academic, friendship, and family-related stress. I also work with parenting concerns and family dynamics through a trauma-informed lens.
More than just my work
Outside of therapy, I find grounding and joy in spending time with my dog, being in nature, listening to music, traveling, and working out. Movement helps me stay connected to both my mental and physical well-being.
I’ve traveled to 72 countries and love learning how history, culture, religion, and environment shape people’s perspectives and ways of life.
