I offer a very genuine and down to earth approach to therapy. I’ve been there, I get it. In my practice my goal is for you to feel validated and understood, while I ask the right questions to help you process whatever has brought you to therapy. I often work with people to explore core beliefs they hold about the world and themselves. When traumatic events, or a series of traumatic events happen to us, we adapt to survive. Sometimes the thought patterns, behaviours and beliefs that we have accumulated over time are no longer working for us. I offer clients coping strategies to help regulate their emotions and tolerate the distress they feel.
I consider it a privilege to be able to hold space for individuals while they explore their feelings in a safe environment. I am a non-judgmental therapist who welcomes LGBTQ2+, all races, cultures, religions, abilities, and sizes.
Megan holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Windsor. For the past 5 years she has worked providing therapeutic interventions in community mental health settings. Megan has extensive experience providing crisis intervention and therapy to individuals experiencing a wide range of bio-psycho-social stressors. Megan has experience facilitating DBT skills group and working with individuals providing cognitive behavioural therapy.

Outside the office I can be found with an ice coffee in hand and spending time with my family and friends. I love the outdoors and animals! I am guilty of asking to pet every dog I see!
