Megan Stark

Registered Social Worker Psychotherapist

Have you been experiencing emotional pain? Whether you are having a hard time being alone with your thoughts, feeling unable to cope, not feeling enjoyment in life, or feeling on edge, I am here to listen and create a therapy plan that best suits you.

I offer a very genuine and down to earth approach to therapy. I’ve been there, I get it. In my practice my goal is for you to feel validated and understood, while I ask the right questions to help you process whatever has brought you to therapy. I often work with people to explore core beliefs they hold about the world and themselves. When traumatic events, or a series of traumatic events happen to us, we adapt to survive. Sometimes the thought patterns, behaviours and beliefs that we have accumulated over time are no longer working for us. I offer clients coping strategies to help regulate their emotions and tolerate the distress they feel.

I consider it a privilege to be able to hold space for individuals while they explore their feelings in a safe environment. I am a non-judgmental therapist who welcomes LGBTQ2+, all races, cultures, religions, abilities, and sizes.
