Often telling your story can be challenging…
I’m Naomi, and I’m here to help you gently untangle the thoughts, feelings, and patterns that may be getting in the way of your daily life. Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, coping with loss, or feeling overwhelmed by everyday stressors, you deserve a space to understand what’s happening with clarity and compassion.
Together, we can explore your experiences and build the tools you need to move forward with steadiness and confidence.
Experience
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto and am registered with both the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
My professional experience includes years working within hospital settings, offering support and crisis counselling to individuals facing anxiety, depression, illness, grief, aging, caregiver burnout, and psychiatric disorders.
I also bring firsthand understanding of the emotional toll faced by healthcare professionals and those navigating complex medical systems.
Client Focus
I work primarily with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, health-related concerns, grief and loss, caregiver burnout, trauma, and the challenges of major life transitions. My goal is to offer a grounded, non-judgmental space where you feel supported as you explore your experiences and build meaningful change.
Types of Therapy
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Together, we’ll use these approaches to explore your story, understand your patterns, and strengthen your ability to cope and thrive.
Issues I Support
I support clients through anxiety, depression, chronic illness, health anxiety, stress, trauma, grief, bereavement, caregiver burnout, and major life transitions. I work to help you reconnect with your strengths and regain a sense of control and direction.
More than just my work
I love watching documentaries, especially sports stories, and I can often be found singing along to musical soundtracks. I enjoy hiking, exploring local coffee shops in search of the perfect cappuccino, and recently began experimenting with pottery, embracing the calming and creative process of making art.
