Jeremy Curtis-Wells
Registered Social Worker
Often telling your story can be challenging…
I’m Jeremy, and many of the individuals, couples, and families I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns they can’t untangle alone. You might be navigating anxiety, relationship stress, a major life transition, or a sense of having lost touch with yourself or each other. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin, therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most.
Together, we’ll build clarity, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
Experience
I hold a Master of Social Work and am a Registered Social Worker with over five years of experience in community mental health and hospital settings. I’ve supported youth, adults, parents, and couples through anxiety, depression, life transitions, communication struggles, and relational challenges.
My work is grounded in a warm, relational, and trust-based approach, helping clients feel understood, supported, and empowered as they move through life’s most tender moments.
Client Focus
I work with youth (12+), teens, young adults, adults, couples, and parents. I support clients facing anxiety, low mood, life transitions, relationship strain, broken trust, men’s issues, post-secondary stress, and challenges with identity, communication, or self-worth.
Types of Therapy
My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person or couple I work with. I draw from Gottman Method Couples Therapy, CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. These approaches help us build insight, improve communication, and move toward emotional connection and lasting change.
Issues I Support
I support clients through anxiety, depression, trauma-informed concerns, relationship conflict, rebuilding trust after betrayal, life transitions, low self-esteem, men’s issues, and the unique challenges faced by young adults and post-secondary students.
More than just my work
A quote that resonates deeply with me is by Carl Rogers:
“A person is a fluid process, not a fixed and static entity; a flowing river of change…”
This reflects my belief that healing is an ongoing process and that every person has the capacity for growth, movement, and transformation.
Let’s Connect
If you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’d be honoured to walk alongside you as you rebuild confidence, strengthen your relationships, and reconnect with yourself. You’re welcome to book an appointment, and together we can begin creating clarity, connection, and meaningful change.
