Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Often telling your story can be challenging…
Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves or their direction in life. You may be navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, or questions about who you are and where you’re headed. I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported.
My approach is collaborative and thoughtful. Together, we’ll explore your inner world, build clarity, and move toward meaningful growth with greater confidence and self-understanding.
Experience
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). My experience includes supporting teens, adults, and couples in not-for-profit settings, as well as providing crisis support through the Canadian Mental Health Association’s Crisis Centre.
This work has shaped my ability to remain calm, present, and grounded while supporting clients through moments of distress, uncertainty, and emotional overwhelm.
Client Focus
I work with teens (13+), adults, and older adults, as well as individuals and couples. I support clients navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, self-confidence concerns, emotional regulation challenges, suicidal ideation, relationship difficulties, men’s issues, and faith-informed questions or values.
My goal is to meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels respectful, steady, and supportive.
Types of Therapy
I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), supported by psychoeducation to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns. My work focuses on building practical skills, increasing insight, and helping you feel more equipped to navigate life’s challenges.
Issues I Support
I support clients with anxiety, trauma, grief, emotion regulation difficulties, self-confidence concerns, suicidal ideation, relationship challenges, men’s issues, and faith-informed concerns. I work with clients who are seeking clarity, stability, and a deeper sense of purpose.
More than just my work
Outside of my work, I recharge through activities like working out or playing Dungeons & Dragons, both of which remind me of the importance of balance, creativity, and connection.
As Fyodor Dostoevsky once wrote, “The mystery of human existence lies not in just staying alive, but in finding something to live for,” a sentiment that deeply shapes how I view growth, resilience, and purpose in therapy.
