Often telling your story can be challenging…
Life brings challenges that can feel intrusive, overwhelming, or unexpected, often arriving at the worst possible moment and demanding attention we may not feel ready to give. These experiences can disrupt our sense of peace while also holding the potential for deep insight and growth.
I’m here to help you make sense of these emotional “guests,” understand what they’re trying to tell you, and explore how they can become a source of resilience and transformation.
Experience
I hold degrees from the University of Western Ontario and the University of Windsor, and I bring nearly two decades of experience supporting individuals and couples through complex emotional and psychological challenges. Much of my work has focused on supporting men facing significant life and health stressors.
My background has strengthened my ability to offer a grounded, relational presence, helping clients navigate difficult emotions with clarity, compassion, and curiosity.
Client Focus
I work with individuals, and youth aged 14+. I support clients navigating anger, anxiety, depression, addictions, relational conflict, PTSD, shame, guilt, and emotional overwhelm. My goal is to offer a space where you feel understood, supported, and encouraged to grow.
Types of Therapy
My approach is relational, person-centered, and integrative. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, and neurobiological insights.
This combination allows us to explore your wounded parts, understand protective patterns, and develop skills for emotional integration, helping you pivot away from unhelpful mental traps and toward healthier ways of being.
Issues I Support
I support clients working through anger, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship challenges, PTSD, shame, guilt, and identity-related stress. I also help clients deepen emotional awareness, strengthen communication, and build healthier relational patterns.
More than just my work
I love traveling and immersing myself in new cultures. Some of my favourite moments are enjoying a cup of tea with croissants while watching soccer, though depending on the match, the “relaxation” part can be questionable.
I’m inspired by Henry David Thoreau’s reminder: “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.”
