Often telling your story can be challenging…
Trauma has a way of influencing every part of life, shaping how we see ourselves, how we cope, and how safe we feel in the world. It can leave you overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. If you’re feeling this way, you’re not alone.
I’m here to offer a grounded and compassionate space where you can begin to understand the roots of your experiences, process difficult emotions, and reconnect with your inner strength. Together, we’ll work toward clarity, stability, and meaningful healing.
Experience
I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor, a Bachelor of Applied Science, and diplomas in Child and Youth Counselling and Social Service Work. I am also a trained mediator and trauma counsellor with several professional certifications from Wilfrid Laurier University.
My background includes supporting individuals of all ages as a Youth Counsellor, a community crisis coordinator, and a professional mediator. These roles have strengthened my ability to stay steady in complex situations, listen deeply, and support clients through moments of crisis, grief, and transition.
Client Focus
I work with individuals aged 12 and up, with a particular focus on supporting youth and families in crisis. I also support adults navigating a wide range of challenges including trauma, medical trauma, childhood trauma, grief and loss, dissociation, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, gender and sexuality, women’s health, life transitions, and transplant-related experiences.
Types of Therapy
My therapeutic style is grounded in empathy, respect, and a deep appreciation for the resilience people carry—often without realizing it. I draw from EMDR, Polyvagal-informed work, Somatic Experiencing, CBT, self-compassion approaches, parts work, and strength-based interventions.
Every session is tailored to your needs, your history, and your readiness, honouring your pace as we move toward healing and reconnection.
Issues I Support
I support clients navigating trauma, medical trauma, transplant experiences, childhood trauma, grief and loss, dissociation, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, gender and sexuality, life transitions, women’s health (including menopause), and complex emotional overwhelm.
More than just my work
Spending time in nature brings me a deep sense of peace and freedom. I especially love river kayaking-whether exploring quiet, remote spaces or enjoying a gentle float. It’s a blend of adventure, grounding, and beauty that always helps me reconnect with myself.
