Registered Social Worker Psychotherapist
Often telling your story can be challenging…
I support children, teens, and adults who are navigating trauma, grief, chronic stress, attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, and moments in life that feel overwhelming or unclear. Whether you’re feeling stuck, stretched thin, or unsure where to turn next, I’m here to walk alongside you with steadiness and compassion.
Through a grounded, collaborative, and client-centered approach, I help people make sense of their experiences, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward change at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
Experience:
I hold a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Child and Youth Work diploma from Fanshawe College. My career has included frontline crisis work with the MCRRT program supporting first responders, outpatient mental health at LHSC, and crisis intervention with CMHA.
These roles have shaped my ability to stay calm in difficult moments, understand complex emotional needs, and offer support that is both steady and deeply respectful.
Client Focus:
I work with adults, teens, and children 6+, and I have extensive experience supporting first responders, Indigenous clients, trans individuals, and families navigating challenging transitions.
My priority is to create a space where every person feels understood, supported, and honoured, no matter their story or background.
Types of Therapy:
My approach is eclectic and tailored to the needs of each client. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed practice, and grief-focused approaches.
I also offer Voice of the Child (VOC) services to provide children with a safe, developmentally appropriate way to share their thoughts and preferences during separation or custody processes.
Issues I Support:
I work with trauma, grief, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, attachment injuries, family transitions, and identity-related challenges. I am committed to inclusive, culturally sensitive care and supporting clients who may feel overlooked or misunderstood in other spaces.
More than just my work:
I feel most at peace in nature and dream of one day running a small hobby farm. I treasure quiet mornings, a warm cup of coffee, and getting lost in a captivating book. These moments help me stay grounded, grateful, and connected.
